About Mrs. Jones
Hello Third Grade Families! Welcome to Room 236! I am looking forward to a great school year – especially meeting and working with wonderful families! Since I will be spending a great deal of time with your child, I want to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Tiffany Jones and I have been teaching for eleven years. I previously taught Kindergarten in my hometown of Taylorville IL. This is my eighth year teaching Third Grade at Whiteside Elementary—and I LOVE Whiteside! Go Warriors!
I graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana- Champaign with a bachelor of science in Early Childhood Education, concentration in Psychology, and earned a specialization in Early Childhood Special Education. I absolutely love being a teacher and cannot imagine doing anything else!
My husband Kyle and I were married in 2009. He's an avid Cardinals fan; and I have always loved the Cubs, but somehow we make it work. :) Although we do not have children yet…we have two very frisky and lovable cats, Doji and Ollie, who keep us very busy! J Welcome to Room 236! I cannot wait to work with you and your child!
"A hundred years from now it will not matter what my bank account was, the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove . . . . but the world might be different because I was important in the life of a child."
